3/16/2024 0 Comments Eternal poison princessAtlus USA gave it the more generic "Eternal Poison" with their release here. The game was written by Flight-Plan, a Japanese company best known for their "Summon Night" series of games (now I think out for the DS if you can find it) - they released this game as Poison Pink, (in katakana, literally po-ee-son peenku) a name that probably sounds awesome and Western and spooky to the Japanese. hack series, so there's gonna be a loooot of walls 'o text. There's only one thing: I couldn't get an emulator to work with EP so I can't cap screenshots like Topher did with his excellent Let's Play of the. So.I guess I'll take a stab at showing VGO why I adore this series. The story's awesome, spooky, and full of interesting surprises. Also, due to a number of stupid decisions by the design team, it's one of those games you could play for a few hours, get frustrated/annoyed with, and never pick it up again. It came out to less-than awesome reviews right at the end of the the lifetime of the ps2, and so was likely duly missed. Eternal Poison is a grindy, flawed Japanese strategy RPG with a gothic flair.
